Today's MLB DraftKings Picks: Value Pitcher and Team Stack
by Tommy Baker

There is a value pitcher and team stack tonight on DraftKings that is just too good to pass up. So before you set your lineups, read on and see who our resident Draftkings contributor Tommy will have in his GPP and Cash lineups tonight.

Lucas Giolito, White Sox ($7,800)

Today's MLB DraftKings Picks: Value Pitcher and Team Stack

Giolito is coming off one of his best starts of the season, posting 26.5 DKP on July 3rd against the San Francisco Giants. In that game, he gave up one earned run over six innings pitched and finished the day with six strikeouts. Today he faces off with a Detroit Tigers team which he faced in his first start in early April. In that start, he pitched only four innings, striking out six and allowing no runs, finishing with a respectable 19.2 DKP. Detroit ranks in the league’s bottom half with a 24% K rate and a .268 wOBA versus right-hand pitching this season. I believe at his current cheap price of $7,800 and no longer under a pitch count that Giolito is an absolute steal in all formats. He makes for a great building block today on DraftKings.

New York Yankees

Today's MLB DraftKings Picks: Value Pitcher and Team Stack

The Yankees are slated to go up against Connor Seabold today in Boston. Seabold pitched only 8.2 innings in the big leagues this season, allowing eight earned runs and a whopping three home runs. We all know the Bronx Bombers’ power, evidenced by their .331 wOBA, .190 ISO, and 117 wRC+ versus right-hand pitching this season. Players such as Aaron Judge (.434 wOBA), Anthony Rizzo (.370 wOBA), Giancarlo Stanton (.361 wOBA), and DJ LeMahieu (.324 wOBA) make for an excellent stack against Seabold, who still has a lot left to prove in the majors.

Also Consider:

Nelson Cruz, Nationals ($4,000)

All Cruz has done is collect 10 hits in 29 plate appearances for a .517 slugging percentage against Braves SP Charlie Morton

Charlie Blackmon, Rockies ($4,800)

Zac Gallen goes for Arizona tonight, and in 24 at-bats, Blackmon has converted that into 10 hits for an impressive .417 batting average.

DraftKings NFL Week 10 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

DraftKings NFL Week 10 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

Welcome to Week 10 of the 2021 NFL season. This week presents great opportunities to build your DraftKings GPP and cash lineups with players we find as must plays. With injuries starting to take its tole on several teams, trades being made and byes still in effect – we have you covered.

So now, let’s get to our DraftKings NFL Week 10 Picks for the Sunday Main Slate.

Top Stack

Minnesota Vikings @ Los Angeles Chargers (-3.5) 53.5

Justin Herbert (QB) Los Angeles Chargers ($7,300)

Justin Herbert bounced back in a big way last week. All he did was put up 34.6 DKFP against the Philadelphia Eagles after being held to a combined 27.8 DKFP in weeks 8 and 9. Even after putting up 30+ fantasy points, he’s only the fourth-highest-priced quarterback on DraftKings. And this week, he is blessed with a great game environment versus the Minnesota Vikings. This game is projected to be close and high scoring, the perfect combination for fantasy points.

Over the last four games, the Viking’s defense has allowed the third most DKFP/GM (22.3) to opposing quarterbacks. Just two weeks ago they let backup Cowboys QB Cooper Rush throw for over 300 yards against them. Herbert, who ranks in the top ten in passing yards (2,350) and passing touchdowns (17) should have a field day against this defense.

Mike Williams (WR) Los Angeles Chargers ($6,600)

If you were to look at the last three-game logs of Mike Williams, you would surely be disappointed. Williams hauled in a measly six of fifteen targets for 104 yards and no touchdowns, averaging a disgusting 5.5 DKFP/GM over that span. But his lack of production has caused his price to drop $1,500 on DraftKings since week six. Williams’s upside is still there, evidenced by his 6 TD (T-7th amongst WR) and 130 PPR points (18th amongst WR). This week he finds himself in a get-right spot against a defense that has allowed the sixth-most DKFP/GM to opposing wide receivers. I’ll gladly play Williams in week 10 in both GPP and cash contests while he’s cheap.

Bring It Back With

Dalvin Cook (RB) Minnesota Vikings ($8,000)

Cook has averaged 16.5 DKFP/GM and has gone over 100-yards rushing in three of the six games
skysports.com

Dalvin Cook has missed some time with an ankle injury, but thankfully he has seen an average of 21 carries and two targets per game over the last three games. Those numbers to me suggest the ankle is holding up just fine. Cooks volume in touches is precisely where it should be (although I’d take a couple more passing targets, please). Even without many passing targets or touchdowns, Cook has still averaged 16.5 DKFP/GM and has gone over 100-yards rushing in three of the six games he has appeared in. I fully expect a heavy workload this week against a Las Angeles Chargers defense that has allowed the most rushing yards/GM (130) and the eighth-most DKFP/GM (27.2) to opposing running backs.

Tight End

Dan Arnold Jacksonville Jaguars ($3,500)

Dan Arnold has found himself in the write-up a couple times this season, and why wouldn’t he? DraftKings doesn’t seem to want to raise his price. He quietly ranks in the top 16 in target share (16.3%), yards after catch (152), air yards (257), and reception yards (326) amongst tight ends this season. Furthermore, he appears to be heating up, catching 12 of 17 targets for 128 yards over the last two games. I like Arnold’s chances of putting together another solid outing this week versus an Indianapolis Colts defense that has allowed the 5th most DKFP/GM (16.4) to opposing tight ends. Arnold will be well represented in our GPP lineups for week 10.

Defense

Tennessee Titans ($2,600)

The Titan's defense has been turning it on lately as they have 8 turnovers, 10 sacks, and two defensive TDs over their last three games

The Tennessee Titans host the New Orleans Saints this week. The Saints will start Trevor Siemian at QB and will also be without star running back Alvin Kamara. The Titan’s defense has been turning it on lately as they have 8 turnovers, 10 sacks, and two defensive TDs over their last three games. I expect the Saints to play it safe offensively given their injuries, but if the Titans can get out to an early lead and force Siemian to throw, they may find themselves having another big day. And at $2,600 on DraftKings, they don’t need to do much to pay off that price tag.

These are some of the players we will have in our GPP and cash lineups for DraftKings NFL 2021 Week 10 contests. Good luck, and may your screens always be green.

DraftKings NFL Week 8 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

DraftKings NFL Week 8 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

Week 7 of the 2021 NFL is thankfully behind us. Unfortunately, week 7 was not one of our best weeks. Our top stack of Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill only secured 22.4 combined DKFP. Fortunately, our bring-back of “King” Derrick Henry totaled 102 all-purpose yards and threw for a TD to notch 16.4 DKFP in week 7. Bears TE Cole Kmet gave us 9.4 DKFP hauling in 5 of 6 targets for 43 yards while continuing to prove he is DFS relevant. Sadly our defensive pick, The Philadelphia Eagles, secured us 1.0 DKFP while notching only 1 sack and no interceptions.

But this is a new week, and we are back with more GPP and cash contest picks for week 8 of the 2021 NFL season. So now, let’s get to our DraftKings NFL Week 8 Picks for the Sunday Main Slate.

Top Stack

Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills (-14) O/U 49

Top DraftKings stack week 8 2021 NFL season

Josh Allen (QB) Buffalo Bills ($8,100)

We all know what Josh Allen is capable of. Since his rookie year in 2018, he trails only Lamar Jackson in rushing yards by a quarterback (1,776) and leads all quarterbacks in rushing touchdowns with 27. But it’s what Allen has done with his arm over the past two seasons that has truly tapped into his upside. Since last season he ranks top five in passing yards (6,267), passing touchdowns (52), and QB rating (106.1). This week he faces a Miami Dolphins team that he has feasted on since 2018. In seven career games, he’s racked up 1,731 passing yards with 19 passing touchdowns and five interceptions. He also rushed for an additional 375 yards and three scores. Fact and point, Josh Allen is monster. Therefore play him – it’s Halloween.

Stefon Diggs (WR) Buffalo Bills ($8,100)

This season, Stefon Diggs has yet to have a breakout game, averaging only 16 DKFP/GM, compared to the 21 DKFP/GM he averaged last season. I truly BILLieve coming off the bye week that the Bills get their number one wide-out going. It couldn’t come at a better time, as Buffalo Bills host the Miami Dolphins, who have allowed the third most DKFP/GM to opposing wide receivers. Stefon Diggs, much like Josh Allen, has feasted on the Dolphins as a Bill. In three career games, Diggs owns a 19-289-2 receiving line and has averaged 21 DKFP/GM. It is also worth noting that tight end Dawson Knox (hand), who had averaged 4.5 targets/GM, is out this week. Extra potential targets, coming off the bye and facing a defense that has issues with strong passing attacks makes Stefon Diggs my favorite wide receiver this week on DraftKings in GPP and cash contests.

Bring It Back With

DeVante Parker (WR) Miami Dolphins ($4,900) or Jaylen Waddle (WR) Miami Dolphins ($5,600)

DeVante Parker is my preferred bring-back option this week due to his discounted price, but it is worth noting that he is questionable with a hamstring and shoulder injury. Parker has been influential in the lineup this season, averaging 14.2 yards per reception with a 17-241-1 receiving line. In twelve career games versus the Bills, Parker has compiled 55 receptions for 748 yards and four touchdowns.

Jaylen Waddle has been sensational in his rookie year. He has compiled 384 receiving yards with three touchdowns and ranks 6th (1st amongst rookie wide receivers) in total receptions with 44. He has three games with at least seven receptions this season, which bodes well for DraftKings PPR scoring. Additionally, the Bills should be leading this game, meaning the Dolphins will be throwing to keep up. And if DeVante Parker is ultimately ruled out, I feel confident in locking in Jaylen Waddle in my Buffalo Bills stacks.

Running Back

Khalil Herbert Chicago Bears ($5,400)

Top DraftKings Running Back week 8 of the 2021 NFL season
cbssports.com

I know what you’re thinking, “A Chicago Bear in a DFS lineup!!? He’s gone mad”. And while you may be right, I just can’t stay away from that $5,400 price tag on DraftKings. Especially for a guy projected in the lead-back role. Herbert looked great last week against a stout Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has allowed a league-low 51.3 rushing yards per game. Herbert rushed 18 times for 100 yards in the game and caught all five targets for 33 yards, finishing with a respectable 21.3 DKFP.

However, this week he faces a banged-up San Francisco 49ers defense that may be without three starters, and that just allowed Jonathan Taylor of the Colts to rush for 107 yards and a touchdown versus them last Sunday. So I’m choosing to focus on the discounted running backs this week on DraftKings, allowing me to pay up for elite passing attacks. And Herbert is by far my favorite value running on the board. Herbert will be well represented in my GPP lineups for week 8.

Tight End

Dan Arnold Jacksonville Jaguars ($2,800)

Talk about a total streamer play this week and mark my words; Dan Arnold will be chalky. But it’s tough to stay away from that price, especially since he has seen 13 targets over the past two weeks. He faces off with a Seattle Seahawks defense that has allowed 13.4 DKFP/GM to opposing tight ends. And with the Jaguars implied for nearly three touchdowns, all Arnold needs to do is fall in the end-zone to pay off his price. I’ll take that gamble at $2,800 this week on DraftKings.

Defense

Washington Football Team ($2,100)

DraftKings week 8 defense

The Washington Football Team defense has certainly underperformed compared to last year. This year they rank 16th in sacks with 15, whereas last year, they finished the year with 47, which was sixth-most in the NFL. The good news is they are still getting the turnovers, ranking 8th this season with 11 turnovers. This is still a defensive line dominated by first-round draft picks Chase Young (2020), Montez Sweat (2019), Daron Payne (2018), and Jonathan Allen (2017). This week they face a Denver Broncos offensive line that has allowed the fourth-most sacks on the season. If this isn’t a get right spot for Washington’s defense, then I don’t know what is.

These are some of the players we will have in our GPP and cash lineups for DraftKings NFL 2021 Week 8 contests. Good luck, and may your screens always be green.

DraftKings NFL Week 7 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

Welcome to week 7 of the 2021 NFL season (A.K.A – “Bye”Pocalypse). With six teams off in week 7 we are without high powered offenses and DFS studs. Fortunately, there are still options that we can use to create our week 7 DraftKings GPP and cash lineups.

Now, let’s get to our DraftKings NFL Week 7 Picks for the Sunday Main Slate.

Top Stack

Kansas City Chiefs (-5.5) @ Tennessee Titans 57.5 O/U

DraftKings op game stack for NFL Week 7

Patrick Mahomes (QB) Kansas City Chiefs ($8,400)

Although the Chiefs sit dead last in the AFC West with a 3-3 record, Patrick Mahomes has been a model of consistency, averaging 29 DKFP/GM through six games. On the year, he ranks in the top five in total passing yards (1,887), passing yards per game (314.5), and passing touchdowns (18).

This week he gets a glorious matchup with a Tennessee Titans defense that has allowed the 8th most passing yards per game (276.3) and the 6th most DKFP/GM (22.2) to opposing quarterbacks. With a high projected game total and a game environment that is expected to be a back-and-forth affair, I feel comfortable locking in Mahomes at quarterback in cash contests even at his hefty price tag in week 7.

Tyreek Hill (WR) Kansas City ($8,600)

Tyreek Hill (quadriceps) is currently questionable, so be sure to monitor the injury reports before kickoff on Sunday. I am not too concerned as he was questionable with the same injury last week versus the Washington Football Team and ended up catching nine of twelve targets for 76 yards and a touchdown, finishing the game with 22 DKFP respectfully. Much like last year, Hill has been electric through six games this season. He ranks in the top ten amongst wide receivers in target share (28%), receiving yards (592), touchdowns (5), yards after the catch (194), and receptions (46). This week he gets a glorious matchup with a Tennessee Titans defense that has allowed the most DKFP/GM to opposing wide receivers.

Bring It Back With

Derrick Henry (RB) Tennessee Titans ($9,200)

Derrick Henry is the highest-priced running back this week on DraftKings, and for a good reason. The “King” has rushed for a league-leading 783 yards and scored ten touchdowns. It’s also very encouraging that he has averaged three passing targets per game and has hit a ceiling of six receptions back in week two against the Seattle Seahawks. We all know what Henry is capable of, evidenced by his 31 DKFP/GM this season. This week, he should be in line for another big game against a Kansas City Chiefs defense that has allowed the sixth-most rushing yards/GM (133) and the ninth most DKFP/GM (27) to opposing running backs this season.

Tight End

I like Cole Kmet’s chances of finally finding the endzone, which is all he really needs to do at his current price on DraftKings
chicagobears.com

Cole Kmet Chicago Bears ($3,000)

Cole Kmet may not be the sexiest name when scrolling down the tight end list on DraftKings, but he’s only $3,000 this week, which allows us the luxury of rostering the studs from the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans game. He is averaging four targets per game on the year, owns a 17% target share (11th amongst tight ends), and has 227 air yards (12th amongst tight ends).

This week he faces a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has allowed the ninth most DKFP/GM to opposing tight ends. Also, fellow tight end Jimmy Graham was just placed on the Covid 19 list, making him iffy to play Sunday. If he doesn’t suit up, that will surely increase Kmet’s snap share. In a game where the Bears should be trailing, I like Cole Kmet’s chances of finally finding the endzone, which is all he really needs to do at his current price on DraftKings.

Defense

Philadelphia Eagles ($2,300)

This week the Philadelphia Eagles travel to sin city to take on the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders have allowed 17 sacks, which is the eighth-most in the NFL this season. Although the Eagles defense only has 11 sacks, they are only $2,300 on DraftKings this week. Predicting defensive touchdowns is nearly impossible, but we can make assumptions on pressure rates. And against an offensive line that has undoubtedly given up plenty of pressure, I am willing to take a gamble on a cheap Eagles defense with the hopes they can create havoc at the line of scrimmage, grab a few sacks, and hopefully some turnovers.

Good luck, and may your screens always be green for DraftKings NFL Week 7 contests.

DraftKings NFL Week 5 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

DraftKings NFL Week 5 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

Week 4 of the 2021 NFL season is the books. In week 4, our Cowboys stack of Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper totaled a whopping 42.9 DKFP, with Dak tossing 4 TD passes – one of those hauled in by Cooper. Dak continues to impress, and the Cowboys are certainly one of the best teams to start the 2021 season. Derrick Henry carried the ball 33 times for an impressive 157 yards and 1 TD for 28.7 DKFP. Not to mention our TE pick Dawson Knox quickly returned value with 2 TDs, good for 20.7 DKFP. Finally, our week 4 defensive pick – the Detroit Lions, surrendered 24 points to the Chicago Bears and only got 1 sack. Thus the Lions only secured us 3.0 DKFP, our only disappointing pick in week 4.

Nevertheless, still a solid week. But no time to rest. Now, let’s get to our DraftKings NFL Week 5 Picks for the Sunday Main Slate.

Top Stack

Green Bay Packers (-3) @ Cincinnati Bengals 50.5 O/U

Joe Burrow (QB) Cincinnati Bengals ($6,100)

coming off his best performance of the year last week
foxnes.com

So far through four games, Joe Burrow has thrown for 988 yards, nine touchdowns, and four interceptions, with a 114-passer rating. Burrow is coming off his best performance of the year last week versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. The second year signal caller threw for 348 yards and two touchdowns, finishing the game with 25.3 DKFP, respectively.

This week Burrow squares off with a Green Bay Packers defense that has allowed 21 DKFP/ GM to opposing quarterbacks. Furthermore Green Bay may be without their top cornerback Jaire Alexander who is nursing a shoulder injury. On the other side, Bengals running back Joe Mixon hasn’t practiced all week with an ankle injury, and as of this writing is questionable. Fortunately, deep threat wide receiver Tee Higgins (shoulder) is expected to return this week. Burrow should have his full allotment of weapons in the passing game, which is much needed in a projected high-scoring shoot-out with Aaron Rodgers. We have yet to see a Joe Burrow ceiling game this year, but it could very well happen this week and at a modest price tag.

Ja’Marr Chase (WR) Cincinnati Bengals ($5,800)

Ja'Marr Chase is still too cheap this week at $5,800
thespun.com

If the season ended today, it would be hard not to lock Ja’Marr Chase in for offensive rookie of the year. All the former LSU Tiger has done is rank second amongst wide receivers in touchdowns scored (4 TD) while catching 17 balls for 297 yards throughout the first four weeks of the NFL season. While the Packers have only allowed a measly 32 DKFP/GM to opposing wide receivers, they may be without top cornerback Jaire Alexander (shoulder), as mentioned above. For a receiver with a 24% target share, 14.3 aDOT, and 356 air yards, Ja’Marr Chase is still too cheap this week at $5,800.

Bring It Back With

Davante Adams (WR) Green Bay Packers ($8,200)

Adams will be well represented in our cash lineups in week 5
si.com

Davante Adams may have disappointed fantasy owners last week versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, finishing the game with a 6-64-0 receiving line and 12.4 DKFP, but I am definitely going back to the well this week. Through the first four games of the season, Adams ranks in the top five amongst wide receivers in receptions (31), target share (38%), receiving yards (373), and air yards (493). I believe the $8,200 price tag is justified on DraftKings for week 5.

The Bengals have allowed a middling 37.7 DKFP/GM to opposing wide receivers this season. But I think we can all agree that Adams is matchup proof at this point of his career. While he has only scored one touchdown this year, I believe some positive regression is in store in that department, and it could easily come this week in a game projected for 50.5 total points. Adams will be well represented in our cash lineups in week 5.

Running Back

Leonard Fournette Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($5,200)

smash play in GPPs for DraftKings week 5
nfl.com

I’m sure I am not alone in saying that I am not a fan of paying up at running back this week. Then again, Fournette who saw the bulk of the running back work last week for the Buccaneers, finished the day with 20 carries for 92 yards and caught three of five targets for 47 yards, scoring 16.9 DKFP respectively. This week he receives a matchup with a Miami Dolphins defense that has allowed 31.2 DKFP/GM to opposing running backs this season – second-worst in the NFL. If Fournette can just replicate last weeks stats and possibly find the end zone, he makes for a smash play in GPPs for DraftKings week 5 given his cheap salary.

Tight End

Zach Ertz Philadelphia Eagles ($3,400)

great value for week 5 on DraftKings
nj.com

I get it, Zach Ertz is sharing the tight-end role with Dallas Goedert in Philly, but there is no way he should be this cheap. Over the last two weeks, he has caught fifteen targets for 113 yards and a touchdown, averaging 13.7 DKFP/GM. While the Carolina Panthers defense has only allowed 12 DKFP/GM to opposing tight ends, Ertz doesn’t need to do much to pay off his price tag. I just need him to find pay dirt this week, and if he does, he makes for a great value for week 5 on DraftKings.

Defense

Vikings defense is in a great spot

The Detroit Lions could be without three starting offensive linemen this week versus the Vikings. They just placed Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow on IR with a turf toe injury. Starting left tackle Taylor Decker has yet to suit up with a finger/hand injury, and rookie offensive tackle Penei Sewell has been nursing an ankle injury all week. To put it simply, it doesn’t look good for Jared Goff and the Lions’ offense this week. The Vikings’ defense ranks fourth in sacks (13), and the sixth in quarterback hurries with 23. As the saying goes, pressure leads to sacks and turnovers, increasing the chances for the glorious defensive touchdown. And at $3,000 this week on DraftKings, the Vikings defense is in a great spot to do just that.

Good luck, and may your screens always be green for DraftKings NFL Week 5 contests.

DraftKings NFL Week 4 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

DraftKings NFL Week 4 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

Week 3 of the 2021 season is the books. In Week 3, our Rams stack of Matthew Stafford and Robert Woods totaled 39.3 DKFP, with Stafford tossing 4 TD passes good for 343 passing yards. Stafford continues to stay in the MVP conversation after last week’s performance. Chargers RB Austin Ekeler carried the ball 11 times for only 55 yards but caught all six of his targets for 52 yards and a touchdown , giving us another 22.7 DKFP last week. The Tennessee Titans defense let us down, only locking in 2 QB sacks and surrendering 16 points for 3.0 DKFP. We now turn our attention to this week’s look at some of the players we will be rostering in DraftKings GPP and Cash contests. Now, let’s get to our DraftKings NFL Week 4 Picks for the Sunday Main Slate.

Top Stack

Carolina Panthers @ Dallas Cowboys (-4) 51.5 O/U

DraftKings NFL Week 4 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

Dak Prescott (QB) Dallas Cowboys ($6,700)

Dak Prescott wasn’t asked to do much last week against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys rushed for 155 yards, were gifted two interceptions, and scored a defensive touchdown. Regardless, he was still very efficient, completing 21/26 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns, good for 21 DKFP. This week he faces a “stingy” Carolina Panthers defense that has allowed an average of 146 passing yards per game.

You may be asking yourself, “If the Panthers have such a good defense, then why play Prescott this week?”. Well, first off, look at the teams the Panthers have played and their quarterbacks. Zach Wilson (NYJ), Jameis Winston (NO), and Davis Mills (HOU) don’t exactly strike fear into anyone’s hearts. Therefore, I expect Prescott goes low owned this week due to the Panthers’ defensive rankings. Therefore, I’m ready to load up on Dak in GPP tournaments.

Amari Cooper (WR) Dallas Cowboys ($6,000)

Look, I know Amari Cooper is battling through a bruised rib and has only produced six receptions for 50 yards over the last two weeks. Cooper still exploded for 41 DKFP in week one, so there is no way he should be price at $6,000 on DraftKings. If you need me to tell you that $6,000 is too cheap for Amari Cooper, I would take a serious look at yourself in the mirror and reassess your outlook on life. Sarcastic rant aside, I trust the high total in this game. Basically, I believe the Cowboys’ offense is way too cheap. I’ll take my shot on Cooper, who has compiled 243 receptions for 3,217 and 21 touchdowns since joining the Cowboys in 2018.

Bring It Back With

Robby Anderson (WR) Carolina Panthers ($5,100)

DraftKings NFL Week 4 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

Robby Anderson is my GPP play of the day. All the attention in week 4 is going to fellow wide receiver DJ Moore. And honestly, deservedly so, as he has a 22-285-1 receiving line through the first three weeks of the season. But mark my words, Robby Anderson and Sam Darnold will connect, and it may come this week in a projected high-scoring game against the Dallas Cowboys. In 28 career games with Darnold as his quarterback, Anderson has caught 93 balls for 1,456 yards and 12 touchdowns. Say what you want, but I believe in Anderson’s low ownership this week against a Cowboys defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this year is perfect for GPP contests.

Running Back

Derrick Henry Tennessee Titans ($8,800)

fox59.com

What really needs to be said about “King Henry”? He’s an absolute stud. All he has done this season is average 28 fantasy points per game, rushing for a league-leading 353 yards along with three touchdowns. Not known as a pass catcher, Henry has surprisingly averaged four targets per game and compiled 105 receiving yards, which ranks 8th amongst running backs. This week he gets a matchup with a New York Jets defense that has allowed the 3rd most DKFP/GM to opposing running backs. I don’t care that he is the highest-priced running back on DraftKings this week. Henry will be a staple in my GPP and cash lineups.

Tight End

Dawson Knox Buffalo Bills ($3,600)

DraftKings NFL Week 4 Picks: Sunday Main Slate
dknation.com

This may be the last time we see Dawson Knox under $4,000 on DraftKings. First off, he has caught ten of twelve targets for 107 yards and two touchdowns, averaging a respectful 11 DKFP/GM through 3 games. Furthermore, he faces off against a Houston Texans defense that ranks in the bottom five in fantasy points allowed per game (19 DKFP) and receptions allowed per game (7 REC) to opposing tight ends. While his target share is a paltry 10%, he runs the ninth most routes amongst tight ends. Lastly, Knox is apart of a pass-heavy offense that’s implied for over 30 points this week. Knox will be well represented in my cash lineups for week 4.

Defense

Detroit Lions ($2,200)

DraftKings NFL Week 4 Picks: Sunday Main Slate

The Detroit Lions haven’t had an easy schedule to begin the season, facing the San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers, and Baltimore Ravens the first three weeks. But in that span, they have a respectable eight sacks and three turnovers. With that in mind the defense should be salivating this week as they travel to the Windy City to face an injured Andy Dalton and/or rookie Justin Fields at quarterback. The Bears offensive line has allowed the most sacks in the NFL this season which is a recipe for defensive success. Pressure leads to sacks and turnovers, which increase the chances for the almighty defensive touchdown. The Lions sit at a paltry price on DraftKings for week 4, therefore, I’ll gladly lock in the Lions’ defense this week in GPP and cash contests against a bad Chicago Bears offense.

These are some of the players we will have in our GPP and cash lineups for DraftKings NFL 2021 Week 4 contests. Good luck, and may your screens always be green.
